Independent bands need support. The desperate need for high quality, low cost images is what inspired Elizabeth Steiner to pick up a camera and start shooting bands. Bypassing the traditional commerce avenue (because most independent bands don’t have money), Liz will often work with bands she enjoys for merch or a waived cover charge. As a self-taught photo artist, Liz has been actively shooting bands for over half a decade. Last year, Liz toured cross country for ten weeks with the Chapel Hill based band SNMNMNM documenting adventures from the road.
Liz has been published in local magazines and newspapers. Her work has been featured in pressed compact discs as well as in an assortment of promo kits and fliers.
